Hey everybody! Cody said he is handling the blog post tonight; however, I am writing a little tidbit about this place in Manhattan called "The Highline."
I heard about it through a friend on her blog. It is a NYC park/walkway that is above the street level! It is pretty cool. The area was originally used to lifting freight trains out of the way off the streets, or something. Now, as of 2009, it is a public park. It is a pathway that is about 1.5 miles one way, that is filled with gardens, grassy areas, fountains, etc... There are different entrances with stairs or elevators on various streets in the Chelsea area of Manhattan.
Basically, it is a park that is up with the buildings, above the street level. That is the best way to describe it. For those of you who come visit, this is a must-see attraction.
